I Get A Headache (sometimes Migraine) Almost Everyday In Class?
I’m a junior in high school and tend to get headaches everyday in class. They almost always occur in my Chemistry class, which is around noon time. The teacher has candles and the smells just makes my head explode. We also go to the Chem lab many times a week and that also does it. The smell of the natural gas instantly makes me dizzy and nauseous. My French teacher started bringing her Keurig to class and making coffee which has starting making my head inflamed in there as well. I can’t really take any pain killers when I feel it come on as medicine isn’t allowed in school. I usually tough it out until I get home, but the pain can be unbearable sometimes. A couple of times I have come home after hardly being able to drive home and thrown up from the dizziness and weakness. All I could do was down medicine and stuff my head under the pillows to block out all light. What should I do about this? My mum thinks it’s my sinuses and that taking a sinus pill in the morning would help. But it doesn’t always prevent the heaches. How am I supposed to ask my teachers to not light candles or make coffee during class? And what can help with my headaches? Thanks.
